About the campaign

During March & April months, the Dekavva Fund Charitable Foundation, as part of the Harehas Social-Educational Program, is launching the “Tsaghketsru” (Let it Bloom) social campaign to support and empower women in rural communities.

The campaign aims to raise 20 million AMD, with proceeds directed toward the development of two of the following villages—Zar, Vahramaberd, or Tsovak—based on a needs assessment.

*Communities are selected in cooperation with local self-government bodies.

Each contribution will help implement the following in the villages:

  • Establishment of community centers
  • Three-month educational courses for women
  • Development of businesses addressing community challenges
  • Creation of platforms to unite the community
  • Joint organization of festivals and events
  • Three years of mentoring support

Success Stories

As part of the Harehas program, 14 projects have been launched in the beneficiary villages of Zovaber, Geghamavan, and Varser. Three of these are already up and running: the Verelk and Kamk Development Centers, the Juventa Beauty Salon, and a Simmental cattle farm.

Zvard Grigoryan

Graduate of the Harehas Program

Zvard loved English while still in school but didn’t have the opportunity to practice it.

After completing the Harehas course, she retrained and began teaching.

Today, Zvard is an English teacher at the Verelk Development Center in Zovaber, teaching 11 students.

Lida Hakobyan

Graduate of the Harehas Program

By profession, Lida is a dental technician.

Through the Harehas program, she retrained as a ceramist and, with sponsorship, acquired a ceramic kiln.

Today, Lida works from home, collaborating with a doctor in Yerevan.

Tehmine Vardanyan

Graduate of the Harehas Program

Tehmine, together with her family, is preparing to open a smart livestock farm.

With support from Harehas allies, she received funding

to purchase five calves and is now preparing the farm space for milk production.

Juventa Beauty Salon

Five graduates of the Harehas Program

After completing individual training sessions, the women came together to open a beauty salon.

With support from Harehas allies, the space was renovated, and all necessary equipment and supplies were purchased.

Today, Juventa is the first beauty salon in Zovaber.
